The Important Stuff
Please aim for the following times on your day of arrival.
Please eat lunch before you arrive.
Tuesday : 1500
Wednesday : 1200

PAcking List
Towels! : Towels are not provided, so if you’re staying over or fancy a swim in the lake, make sure to bring one with you.
Footwear : A lot of the big day will be on lawns, or in a marquee with matting. You’ll struggle in stilettos, so please bear that in mind.
Clothing : Pack something comfy for walking if you want to explore the grounds and beautiful surrounding Dartmoor. For the water lovers, bring something to swim in so you can enjoy the lake; feel free to bring a paddle board or an inflatable flamingo if you have one lying round. There’s also a primary school style sports day planned for Thursday, so pack your fastest running shoes so you can smash the egg and spoon race.
Food : We would recommend bringing snacks for the duration of your stay, as everyone gets hungry at weddings. A simple self-service breakfast will be available every morning for those staying over, with brew-your-own coffee and tea available whenever you need a pick me up.
On Tuesday evening, Fancy Fish and Chips will be providing delicious food from their van. You will have a preorder slip included if you are staying over Tuesday night.
Food will be provided throughout the day on Wednesday.
Drinks : On Wednesday we will be providing a limited amount of beer, there will be wine on the tables, and some fizz for toasting. However, there is no bar so BYOB – there is plenty of fridge space for your drinks, but make sure to label them in some way unless you want Benny to nick them. There are whiteboards on each fridge, so make sure to write which bits are yours.

Tuesday
If you’re arriving on Tuesday, gates open at 3pm – please eat before you come.
Tuesday is a ‘dry’ day – we’re having an alcohol-free evening that is inclusive for all.
0700 : Breakfast until 10am.
1000 : All hands on deck for set up.
1500 : Guest Arrival – please eat before you come.
1700 : Hide and Seek. This is compulsory.
1900 : Fancy Fish and Chips – collect your preorder from the food truck at the front of the house.
Once we’ve gobbled our chips, it’s games night! There will be loads of board games, silly games, fun games, party games; fun all round. If you’ve any brilliant board or card games you love, bring them along!
Wednesday
THE BIG DAY! Wedding Wednesday!
If you are arriving on Wednesday, gates open at Midday – please eat before you come.
Everyone gets hungry at weddings, so please consider bringing snacks with you for that weird period between the ceremony and the wedding breakfast where we disappear to get photos taken and kiss and stuff.
The following timeline is a rough guide; something for us to aim for on the day, and subsequenty very likely to change:
0700 : Breakfast until 10am.
1200 : Guest arrival – please eat before you come.
12:45 : Wedding Ceremony! It’s time. Bring your tissues, and make your way down to the Pagoda in the garden.
1400 : Celebratory drinks and garden games. Snacks will be available.
1600 : Wedding breakfast in the marquee.
1700 : Speeches.
1900 : Grab your dancing shoes – it’s time to party with The Oomparty Band.
2200 : Fire show with the inimitable SADIQSADIQ.
2300 : DJ Nicetime in the rave cave. Lawnmowers at the ready #IYKYK.
2345 : BennyTM in the rave cave. Get ready to go wild with a full set of signature bangers crafted especially for this event.
Please keep outside noise to a minimum after 11pm. No amplified music, or we’ll get in trouble. Take an acoustic guitar to the fire pit instead.
Thursday
A day for recovery, relaxing, and some extra fun and games before we start taking down the decorations. It’s like boxing day; you’re still in a holiday mood, but you can’t help but feel like the main event has already happened.
0900 : Breakfast until 11am.
1200 : Please arrange your own lunch. There are plenty of lovely cafes and restaurants in nearby Bovey Tracey.
1400 : Sports Day! Relive those primary school glory days and join in with all of the classic games.
1900 : Dinner. We haven’t decided what we’re doing with this yet, we’ll probably get some food delivered, or eat all the leftovers from Wednesday.
2000 : Time to start packing up. We’re sad about it too.
Friday
If you’re still here by Friday then you officially gain legend status. We will be eternally grateful to all those who help us clean up and get out in time.
0700 : Breakfast until 8:30am.
1100 : Get Out!
